Thoughts

I have been in serious thought for about 2 weeks! I have so much on my plate with home, work, and school; but all of that seems to be in the background. I long for the day when I can lay my head on my pillow and fall in deep sleep! I toss and turn for at least an hour before I can fall asleep, but it is not a deep sleep!

The kids are crabby tonight. A trip to Urgent Care says that it's a Sinus Infection!! We were thankful that it was not Strep Throat, 'cause that is going around! Dave is sick too! I don't know who is worse when they are sick, Dave or the kids! I am having back pain and tingling on my right side. This is the same thing that I had when I was carrying Carlee! Nope, not pregnant! Don't even think about it!

Good news on the weight loss: I have lost a total of 11 pounds in three weeks. Dave has lost 9. We have a competition going on right now. We are trying to watch what we eat. It's all about eating healthy and portion control....and we don't eat after 7. It was an adjustment, but it is working! I think that if I exercised on top of this, I would lose more! I just don't have the time. We walk after dinner, but that is about it!

School is ever so tough! I am constantly doing homework! I will be so glad when this is all over!
Dave will be done soon! He is very excited, but nervous about finding a job! Lots of jobs being cut here in teaching! Pray that God has a job for him!

I better go help with bath time! I always get in trouble for avoiding bath time:) They just get water EVERYWHERE and that bugs me!!!

Peyton Story

I forgot to mention my conversation with Peyton last night! When I put him to bed, he always wants me to lay and talk to him. I have no problem with this because I usually get a good story out of it! Well, he was talking about his birthday in May (he will be 5!!!!!) He has been asking to go to Legoland. I told him that not this year, maybe we will go next year. He got all teared up and said, "Mommy, that made me get a little tear in my eye!" How precious and sad is that!?!?!?! I love that kid so much! He comes out with some of the wackiest, sweetest, smartest, and funniest things!! He told me yesterday when I asked him why he was jumping over all the toys, he said, "Mom, it's just my contraptions" Where did my child hear that word? I asked....seems Blues Clues mentioned it before!!! Funny guy!

I will leave you with one of my favorite pictures of my big boy!! I love you Peyton every second of everyday!!!

A Machine!!!!!

That's what I was today.....a machine!
Here is why...
1. Woke up at 7:30
2. Got kids dressed and shipped them off to Grammy
3. Put a paintbrush in my hand at 8:00
4. Painted downstairs bathroom
5. 9:30 ran to Wal-Mart to get paint for upstairs
6. Painted Laundry Room
7. Helped Dave outside for half an hour
8. Painted 1 wall Red in Media room. Note to self in the future...use a Primer!
9. Started on other walls, but couldn't handle getting up and down any longer!!
10. Took a bath to wash the 3 colors off my entire body...I'm a MESSY painter!
11. I think I ate lunch and dinner sometime in between
12. Worked on Indy's training for class tomorrow
13. Finished another assignment for my Master's
14. Now I am multi-tasking by typing this post and eating a Frozen Fruit Bar.....trust me, it's not an easy task!!

Other news....

Indy's crate is their new favorite place to hide!!

Just like a brother!!

Here I am eating breakfast at my favorite place, Cracker Barrel! This was to celebrate me turning another year older:)

Other news: We are potty training 2 of our family members! Indy is a little slow! Carlee loves the girly panties, but only grunts when we put her on the potty! She hates wearing her diaper..and her clothes, so we figured she was ready! We will keep working with her!

Dave is on Spring Break this week, which means I have SEVERAL house projects for him to do!! Honey do...baby!!

I am still working on my Master's in Special Education. This is the first time I am taking 2 classes at the same time! It may be a little rough! It's hard to be in school, work, be a mom, and wife! Whew...that's probably why I am so tired all the time!!

Good to catch up with you all! Hope everyone is doing well!!

Carlee and her Babies...

Carlee has always like babies, but lately she has grown more attached to them. And when I say them, I mean 5 of them! They go everywhere with us. She has 2 strollers, 1 shopping cart, a baby carrier and a bassinet that they all ride in! She loves to wrap them up and talk to them! We have caught her in her room with them all lined up on blankets; she always tells us to "SHHHH" babies are 'sweepin'!! Here are some pictures of when I was folding laundry...she was using dish towels as blankets!

Carlee's 2nd Birthday

Okay, so I am way behind posting about her birthday. Let me explain: I got an adorable loving puppy for Valentine's day that decided to chew through my camera cord, thus the reason I could not download the pictures. Well, that problem is fixed now thanks to my handy electrical husband!! So, we had a Minnie Mouse themed party at the park with some friends and family. Carlee really enjoyed herself, especially for having no nap that day! She and I went to Build a Bear that morning (birthday tradition in our house). She was a little freaked out when they asked her to step on the pedal to fill her bear with fluff! She picked out "Muntee the Monkey". Of course she had to have the stroller to push him in. She has a thing for baby strollers! One of her teachers, Ms. Meagan, made her Minnie Mouse cupcakes that were out of this world adorable! She got lots of cool gifts, including her very own battery operated Golf Cart!!!

This dress I bought on Etsy shop online...it's homemade from a mother in Indiana. I was so excited for her to wear this to her party!!

She took one step and that was all!

This is her ha ha face after she got her way on having the stroller!

Aren't this adorable!?!?!

Check out her new ride. Of course I need to "girl" it up!!

He looks thrilled!!

I loved her reaction when she got this dress!!!

This is Matthew...her BFF! Those two are too funny together! They act like they have been married for years!

Saying thank you to 'Mattchu'

She kicked him as they were walking and talking on the cell's!!

And they're off!!
