This was baby Peyton (no, it's not Lincoln)
When I think back on the day that Peyton was born, I have to just smile. Being our first, we had no clue what to expect! I was sent home from the hospital twice! Finally, being two weeks overdo, I said...NOPE, I am staying until this baby is out! After 22 long hours of labor, a sleepless night, and an epidural that did not work, 8 pound 10 ounce Peyton came out:) It was such a relief and gift to finally get to hold him!
Peyton is such a fun loving kid! He is a true entertainer!! He has always found interesting ways to make us laugh! We are so proud of how smart and talented he has grown to be.
Since Peyton's birthday was during the week, we only did a little family celebration that day. Dave picked Peyton up from school and took him to lunch. Peyton's request, Pizza Hut Buffet! Today, Dave picked up two of Peyton's best buddies, Owen and Aidan. They had intended to go to a movie, but apparently everyone in Arizona had the same idea. They were all sold out. So, Dave quickly thought of Peter Piper. What kid doesn't like tokens and games !!! The boys had a blast!
The plan is camping out in the backyard later with star gazing through the telescope. Should be a fun and wild evening!!
