Preschool Graduation

I can't believe Peyton Douglas Carpenter has finished Preschool and will be going to Kindergarten! Time has gone by so quickly! I remember him being a baby so clearly! He was such a good baby. I am excited for him to move into this next stage. Don't get me wrong, I am already fighting back the tears! He has been with me everyday for 5 years, how am I going to let that go??
Graduation night was stressful and hectic for me. I had to be in teacher mode more than a proud mommy mode. Daddy was in charge of taking pictures. As you will see, there are no pictures of Peyton and me; Peyton and his teachers; or Peyton with his friends. I am disappointed that I didn't make sure that more pictures were taken!
As you can see in the pictures and video that Peyton's shorts were too big! His waistband didn't get adjusted, so Peyton's shorts kept falling down. He was excited to see all of his family in the audience; so excited that as he was waving to them, he tumbled off the step!! Ahh, can't always control a Preschoolers actions!!
Hope you enjoy the Pictures and video from Graduation!

In other news.....

GRANNY IS VISITING!

Carlee loves her some shoes! She was just trying to help Granny unpack!

Indy is a Puppy Graduate! He passed his class, but still can't seem to stop peeing and pooping on the inside:(

Peyton's 5th Birthday

Peyton celebrated his 5th birthday! I can not believe how fast these years have gone by! I can remember so vividly his birth(which was the longest 22 hours of my life!)! I am so thankful for being able to stay home with him for 3 years and having him in the Preschool I work at. It will be a sad sad day when I drop him off to Kindergarten!

We had a great party! Peyton's granny from Kentucky flew in the morning of his party! We had a Water slide/Pirate party at Grammy's house! A lot of his friends from school came to his party. The kids loved the water slide! It was such a hot day! I had a craft planned, but couldn't seem to drag them away from the slide!

Granny's side kick!

Yep, Grammy fell in the pool! HILARIOUS!!

The line got pretty long! And of course Peyton kept cutting in line! Kallie tattled on him, Peyton responded by saying: "Well, she's bossy boss er son!!" That kid is so funny! He got that from his Mommy!!

Pin the Pirate on the Ship game!

It took Carlee awhile to detach from Granny's hip...but she made it into the water!

Lovely face!

Our family party on his actual birthday was minus daddy...he was VERY sick!

Happy birthday my big 5 year old!!

We are celebrating!

Our dear friends Ryan and Amie are having a baby! We are so happy for them! We have always said that they are the skinny version of us! We have never meet 2 greater people! We have been working hard on getting them to move here! We will keep praying for that:) Many of you joined with us in praying for Amie as she donated her kidney. She is a remarkable person and going to be a wonderful mother!

WE LOVE YOU GUYS!

Peyton's Birthday list

You gotta read what all Dave and I heard on the way home from Small group. We simply asked Peyton what he wanted for his birthday, and this is what we got:

1. Ben Ten Watch
2. Lego Pirate Ship wiff(with) 9 dudes and a mermaid with a sword
3. Incredible Huck(Hulk) hands and mask
4. Nerf Lon(Long) shot blaster
5. Wrestling dudes
6. Punch Clown...if you hit it too much, it will hit you back
7. GI Joe boat wiff(with) lots of dudes and snake with guns, bombs, swords, and grenades
8. Shot gun and a sniper rifle.
9. Batman Frisbee
10. Hot Wheels Dino set
11. Screacher (???)...it's batteries not included
12. Storm trooper mask and blaster, oh I forgot to ask you
13. Star Wars dudes, Master Yoda, Chubaca Mask and gun...I didn't see it on TV but I know they have it.
14. Bionicle Toy and Movie...Erase that, just put an x on it
15. Dino race track
16. Gameboy from the game store...I only have 1, I need 1 more.
17. Ben 10 Alien changer

These were all his words! I am sure the list would have kept going, but we were home!

I have no idea what half of these toys are. And yes, it sounds a little disturbing for a 4 year old to want so many guns!

Oh Peyton, I love you little buddy!
