I have been very bad at blogging, so I am trying to play catch up! I hope that one of my New Year's resolutions will be to be a better blogger! But, I have inner struggles with blogging and facebooking, and tweeting! But, I am doing this as a journal and digital scrapbook for my family. I like to think that there are some out there that want to know what our family is doing:)
So, our Christmas break has been great so far. We have shopped, played outside, decorated, spent time as a family, hosted parties, and enjoyed having family over. Our break is not over yet, more on that later...
Everyone was spoiled again this year! We say every year that we are not going to go crazy, but then we find one more thing or yet another deal to good to pass on! I was very blessed this year with a SWEET camera, lots of clothes, a necklace with my children's names on it, shoes, and perfume! That is just to name some:) The kids were overjoyed with all of their gifts too!
Dave's dad and family (minus Jack) came from Michigan City, IN for a visit. We enjoyed spending time with them!! The kids really enjoyed having them here:)
So far, we have hosted Poston Butte boy's basketball team for our annual Christmas party. Lots of food, game watching, game playing, etc....
We are having one more get together with friends and then there is our New Year's trip to Sedona in a couple of days:) More later on that:)
Enjoy some pics...
This blog was started as a family scrapbook to share our happenings and growth over the years. I read many different blogs of women from all over the country that have truly inspired me to expand my horizons, be a better mom and wife, try cooking new things, redecorating every room in my house, and so much more! My goal is to make my blog something that others, who may not know me, find inspiring and so much more.

Soccer Season
Well, it's been too long since I last posted! I can't seem to take the time while I am teaching! I will try and get better, I guess I can make it one of my resolutions??? We will see!
Both Carlee and Peyton played soccer this season! They both ended up on the green team:) They had lots of fun!! Peyton starred as goalie, his best position! Carlee had a rough start, but quickly realized how good she was! She is so fast!! I was so glad to be able to coach Carlee's team! It was lots of fun!!!

Blog break
Has it really been that long since I last blogged???
I would like to say that we were away on vacation or relaxing, but that would not be the case. We have been going through the daily grind with our foot on the gas. I forgot how starting another year of school can totally consume our lives. This past week we put the brakes on and are enjoying some family time while on Fall break. We have 2 weeks to just stop and do whatever we want. We decided instead of taking a little vacation, we would relax and do some work around the house. When we get 3 weeks at Christmas, we will escape to a cooler climate and get away from the grind and heat!
We have done a little of everything from shopping to cleaning, painting to redecorating, and a little fun mixed in to. It is still HOT! Ugh, we are so sick of the heat. While friends and family around the country are enjoying cooler temperatures and the joys of fall, we are still blasting the AC and sporting our summer apparel. Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year, but not in Arizona:( While I have my pumpkins, leaves, and ghosts spread around the house, we are still not in the fall spirit!
We are enjoying football Sunday's, yummy soups, and bike rides to the park. It just doesn't take away our desire to be bundled up with a blanket or enjoying the apple orchard. We are considering a change in our lives, but are not sure what or when that will be.
I have not taken a ton of photos lately, but I do have several to share from the past couple of months. I need to make lunch for the wee ones, but I will be back with some photos later. Enjoy this one of us at San Tan Flats, our favorite steak place here in the desert!
